Bye Bye Blackbird / Blackbird
This original arrangement is a combination of the jazz standard, “Bye Bye Blackbird,” and the Beatles’s song, “Blackbird.” Both tunes have a rich background that can be intertwined both lyrically and harmonically. Interestingly enough, “Bye Bye Blackbird” was a favorite of the Beatles and they had intended on recording a version of it someday.

when the party's over
“when the party’s over” (stylized in all lower case) was released in 2018 by American singer Billie Eilish. The song tells the story of ending a relationship that is potentially harmful and toxic. Kristin Houston and Tyrone Jackson’s arrangement features the use of a vocoder to experiment with a more electronic sound.
